The first job this morning was to head for the nearest Mercadona where we restocked with 40 litres of wine for 19 euros. We then headed 40 miles north to Montserrat where we boarded a cable car for the 10 minute ride up to the abbey, not nearly as stressful as the last time we were airborne! The photos tell the story. After a 3 mile walk between the amazing rock formations we returned to Harry mid afternoon and then bumbled another 13 miles to our next aire at Navarcles, which is about 35 miles north north west of Barcelona. During our drive, the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees were clear to see although we don’t expect to hit France for a few days yet.
