It's Chilly Up North

We started and ended the day at -4c but it made for a beautiful 250 mile drive south to Fresnay sur Sarthe (just north of Le Mans). With no wind and only a slight increase in temperature throughout the day, the heavy frost made even motorway driving picturesque when the sun made an appearance. The Silverscreens and central heating are both on overtime to ensure we remain nice and snug inside.

Depending on the fogginess of the weather tomorrow we may make it to the outskirts of Bordeaux for New Years Eve.

  1. Eeeee by 'eck chums, we'm jealous though! I was thinking to myself this afternoon whilst being shoved and jostled in the madness that is the local supermarket, I wish we were with B&R heading south. So thanks for posting the lovely photos because you've convinced us that you're doing the right thing. Next year.... Who knows? You might have company :-)

    1. You know you're always welcome although I think these temperatures would make Harley riding unbearable! Thanks for reminding us what life is like back home, it makes this journey even MORE enjoyable! :-D
